My calves are sore. I’ve overreached my step goal for two days in a row. Friday, I spent a good amount of time in my car travelling.

I wonder how many steps I’ll clock for this entire convention.

Here is a list of the panels and events I’ve attended so far:

Friday, the 22nd:

  • Self-Editing Strategies

  • We Come in Peace: Writing Non-human Sentience

  • Music Copyrighting and IP

  • Opening Ceremonies

  • Book Party with Celia Tan

Saturday, the 23rd:

  • Murderswoon: Morally Gray Characters

  • Who Cares About The Chosen One?

  • Detectives in Urban Fantasy

  • Writing Despite It All

  • Characters Who Get Better

  • Avoiding Tokenism

  • Is The Violence Necessary?

Here are the panels and events I’ll attend (or have already attended) today and tomorrow:

Sunday, the 24th:

  • Guest of Honor: Jim Butcher Q&A

  • How Character Relationships Can Drive Conflict

  • Premarketing Your Book

  • Publishing AMA: Self Pub and Small Press and Trad, Oh My!

Then I’m on my way home.

I’ll give more thoughts on these panels in a later post.
