Because I will be viewing the movie this week with my Weekly Movie Club—where a bunch of old college friends and I get together on Zoom every Sunday evening to discuss a movie—I have decided to read the novel Midnight Cowboy by James Leo Herlihy before watching the film version.

As usual, I’ll share my thoughts when I’m through.
